Dalian FKAB Marine Engineering Co., Ltd is a Sino-Swedish joint venture for ship design established in Dalian, 2001. A Shanghai branch was established early 2005. Our major shareholder, FKAB in Sweden with more than 45 years experiences, is a full service Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Consultancy company. FKAB with its main office in Uddevalla, and a branch in Gothenburg has gained good relationships with many owners and shipyards worldwide.

Our activities are ranging from conceptual design, basic design & approval drawings, detail design as well as production design (in cooperation with our local shareholder, DASTEC) for new buildings as well as conversions and mainly for foreign ship owners. We have experienced and skilled engineers from Dalian, Shanghai (China) and Uddevalla, Gothenburg (Sweden) and we continuously exchange knowledge, experiences and cultural aspects with Sweden. The staff in Sweden is about 40 and we are more than 70 in China. Many of our engineers have been to Sweden for training or working with order performance.

We are now, due to quick development, good order intake and high workload, looking for following positions:

Design Engineers (Dalian & Shanghai)
Engineers for Stability calculations and General Arrangement,
Engineers for Strength calculation and Steel structure,
Engineers for Outfitting,
Engineers for Machinery/system/piping,
Project managers

Requirements:
1. Good English knowledge, spoken and written
2. More than 2 years experience from ship design
